The Comédie de Clermont-Ferrand, the only theatre in Auvergne having received the “scène nationale” (national stage) designation by the Ministry of Culture, plays a central role in promoting art and culture. Intended to facilitate access to as many as possible to contemporary creations, it is currently a major location for productions and diffusion of choreographic, theatrical and musical repertoires and circus arts. It presents innovative works that are among the most well-known in live performances.

Along with its programming, the Comédie de Clermont-Ferrand has set up activities for artistic education and very dynamic cultural mediation which offers workshops, meetings, exhibitions, decentralised performances, or interventions from artists. Established in the heart of Auvergne, it has made artistic creativity and vitality its trademark, and its reputation for excellence goes well beyond these regional borders. Appreciative of its unique and committed approach, the Michelin Corporate Foundation wanted to be involved.
