Why not, right from high school, choose technical and professional training to ensure a successful entry into the workforce?
The Télémaque Pro program supports young people enrolled in vocational high schools and partner apprenticeship training centers (CFA), with the aim of facilitating their continued education and professional integration.
It is with this objective of inclusion and equal opportunity that the Michelin Corporate Foundation has chosen to partner with Télémaque to support 200 young people enrolled in technical and professional training over three years (2025-2028) in four regions where Télémaque and Michelin operate: Clermont-Ferrand, Bordeaux, Lyon, and the Île-de-France region.
An initial cohort of 60 young people was launched during the 2025-2026 academic year. A second cohort will be launched in 2026-2027, and a third in 2027-2028, reaching a total of 200 young mentors by 2028.
We targeted young people with potential from disadvantaged backgrounds, enrolled in industrial and digital fields, corresponding to high-stakes jobs of the future. Michelin employees are and will continue to be involved through volunteer mentoring, visits and career presentations, and skills sharing during workshops throughout these three years.
To assess the positive impact of this support (graduation, postgraduate studies, and access to sustainable employment), qualitative impact assessments are also conducted annually with the young people, mentors, and families to ensure the program’s benefits.
Because the goal is to give young people the tools to build a future that suits them, strengthen their confidence, develop their skills, and broaden their horizons.
