48th International Short Film Festival

The whole city of Clermont-Ferrand is buzzing with excitement!

🎬 The International Short Film Festival returns from January 30th to February 7th. 

For one week, Clermont-Ferrand will be buzzing with the energy of short films! Screenings, meetings, discussions among professionals… Over the decades, this annual event has become a true meeting point for filmmakers and amateur and professional audiences from around the world. 

The 2025 edition attracted more than 170,000 visitors, drawn by the diversity of cinematic perspectives and creative visions. 

We are proud to support the organizing association, Sauve Qui Peut Le Court Métrage, and to encourage the Panorama section, an international program that highlights a different region of the world each year. 

For this 48th edition, we set our sights on Southeast Asia, with a consistently rich national and international program and a powerful lineup that transforms the city’s iconic cathedral into a ship ready to set sail. An invitation to travel, discover new stories, and foster dialogue between cultures! 

This collaboration illustrates our commitment to regional initiatives that boost the appeal of our communities, support local development, and facilitate access to culture for all.
