Foster vibrant local communities

Convinced that the major transformations of tomorrow are built collectively, we support the InSite association in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region to foster new collaborative models based on civic engagement, territorial cooperation, and trust in local initiatives. 

Facing the challenges of rural life, InSite supports elected officials, associations, entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, and residents who are devising concrete solutions to maintain social ties, showcase local heritage, preserve the environment, and boost the local economy. Through free, tailored support, the association helps these “everyday artisans” strengthen and sustain their projects. 

Among InSite’s flagship initiatives is the Rural and Solidarity Volunteering program, which enables young people aged 18 to 30 to commit to a six-month stint in rural communities, focusing on social cohesion, culture, digital technology, heritage, and the environment. 

A true “rural Erasmus,” this program builds bridges between generations, regions, and committed citizens. Beyond their specific mission, these young people discover a different side of rural life and may even go on to become new residents of these communities. 

InSite also facilitates the sharing of ideas among the community, which fosters the sharing of experiences, access to resources, the exchange of best practices, and the emergence of innovative solutions for rural areas. 

In 2026, this partnership will translate into six missions across eight villages in the Puy-de-Dôme, involving around ten volunteers and interns working alongside local stakeholders. 

This approach directly reflects our conviction that innovation is also social, territorial, and collaborative; for each of these initiatives contributes to revitalizing villages, empowering residents, and devising concrete solutions for the communities of tomorrow. 

By fostering collective dynamics, we can—together—shape a future that is more inclusive, more sustainable, and more desirable.
