Closing a business is a difficult experience, both professionally and personally. To help entrepreneurs get back on their feet after a liquidation, the 60,000 Rebonds association offers completely free, structured, and caring support.
Since 2020, its Auvergne branch has already supported 46 entrepreneurs, 20 of whom are still receiving support.
Faced with the increase in business closures in the region (+69% in Puy-de-Dôme), the association must strengthen its presence to meet growing needs. Support from the Michelin Corporate Foundation will enable it to expand its territorial coverage to be accessible within an hour of each entrepreneur.
Thanks to this support, new branches will be established, notably in Vichy and Aurillac, supporting 45 entrepreneurs in 2025 and 60 in 2026.
The support relies on a network of 42 volunteers (coaches, mentors, and experts) who guide entrepreneurs through a recovery process combining individual support, group workshops, and networking. Each entrepreneur who restarts a business after their time with the association creates an average of 6.2 jobs, thus contributing to local economic dynamism. The association also conducts significant awareness-raising efforts among all stakeholders in the entrepreneurship sector (Chamber of Commerce, Commercial Courts, Medef, etc.) to change the way people view failure.
To support this growth, 60,000 Rebonds Auvergne Rhône-Alpes is also evolving its governance, with the arrival of a vice president dedicated to the region. Through this partnership, the Michelin Corporate Foundation is committed to inclusion and equal opportunities, helping those who are entrepreneurs to rebounce and consider new projects.
