Supporting committed entrepreneurs

CoCoShaker

Faced with social and environmental challenges, new forms of entrepreneurship are emerging to meet the needs of the regions.

CoCoShaker, an incubator for social entrepreneurs and committed local communities, supports entrepreneurs with social and environmental impact by helping them structure and develop their projects in Auvergne.

Thanks to the support of the Michelin Corporate Foundation, the incubator is strengthening its efforts by offering four support programs tailored to the entrepreneurs’ project stages: emergence, experimentation, incubation, and deployment.

This program enables initiative leaders to take action in key areas such as the circular economy, healthy aging, sustainable food, disability, and mobility.

Each year, approximately 500 entrepreneurs and project leaders are identified and/or receive support, including 43 in long-term support programs. Around sixty regional events are organized, involving more than 800 participants and fostering networking among local stakeholders.

A key component of the project is the Épicerie des Idées (Grocery Store of Ideas), a space for reflection and territorial cooperation with the Fabriques à Initiatives (Initiative Factories) label. This initiative helps develop concrete solutions to the needs of rural areas by bringing together communities, citizens, and entrepreneurs.

By supporting CoCoShaker, the Michelin Corporate Foundation fosters the development of a social and solidarity economy rooted in local communities and supports those developing innovative solutions for the common good.
