Based on this strong belief in the effectiveness of collective effort and collaboration, we support projects* that:
-empower and unite broader communities around societal and environmental challenges,
-facilitate the emergence of innovative and collaborative approaches,
-encourage experimentation within a broader, learning community,
-develop and strengthen civic spirit.
* E.g.: organizations that support groups of employee volunteers, groups that facilitate volunteering in local communities, groups that assist with project development in local communities, communities of interest, etc.
“Third places” or “Community centers” are critical for our society, but typically do not fall within this scope of action when limited to a specific geographic area and a small number of beneficiaries.
