The largest museum in France is located in our towns !

Since 2014, the Michelin Corporate Foundation has partnered with the Fondation Sauvegarde de l’Art Français, convinced that the Greatest Museum in France is located in our communities, scattered throughout France, in our streets, our parks, our churches,… and that this program would become a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the heritage treasures hidden in our communities, by contributing to their preservation and revaluation.

In 2017, a new milestone was reached with the inclusion of Michelin sites in the program. Spread across France and firmly rooted in their respective territories, Michelin sites were able to provide real added value by mobilizing their employees in a treasure hunt for art works to be restored.

Eight years later, with the Michelin 2025 edition, 13 industrial sites across France joined the adventure. 115 heritage works were identified, and 15 were chosen for restoration, following decisions by all stakeholders, advised abd challenged by heritage experts.

Thanks to the impact of the Michelin Corporate Foundation’s sponsorship and the commitment of industrial sites, we were able to contribute together to the restoration of 80 art works that were at risk in our regions! A big congratulations to the art restorers who carry out meticulous and excellent work!
