A pioneer in equal opportunities, Télémaque supports more than 2,000 young people from modest backgrounds, mainly from priority education zones, within nine regions of France.
Created in 2005, the Télémaque association aims to relaunch social advancement from middle school, by supporting invested and motivated young people from fragile regions through mentoring. Today, thousands of young people need mentors to guide themselves, gain self-confidence and find their way.
Télémaque gives them the best chance of revealing their potential thanks to dual school-company mentoring, from middle school to general and technological high school tracks.
The Télémaque association is part of L’Ascenseur, the first French coalition for equal opportunities, and of the Collectif Mentorat, which brings together several associations with the common objective of developing mentoring in France.
In 2022, the Michelin Corporate Foundation provided its support to Télémaque.
During the 2023-2024 school year, 10 Michelin mentors support young people from priority neighborhoods in Clermont-Ferrand.
