Towards a culture of road safety shared by all

“Road safety is a common good” Florence Guillaume, Interministerial Delegate for Road Safety

The Ville Prudente label held its 5th symposium at the Palais du Luxembourg (Paris) on June 5th for elected officials from the 530 municipalities already holding the label. This label highlights the municipalities most committed to road safety and prevention.

This year’s theme focused on the notion of responsibility at the heart of road safety initiatives, with the aim of mobilizing elected officials around three areas of road safety: regional planning, road safety education, and citizen awareness.

This was an essential opportunity for discussion to explore the levers available to local authorities and share experiences and best practices to ensure everyone’s safety.

Because we can reduce risky behaviors and establish a culture of road safety shared by all, the Michelin Corporate Foundation has partnered with the Prévention Routière association to develop a comprehensive mobilization kit (tools and educational materials) aimed at uniting numerous elected officials in this initiative.
