Working together for sustainable mobility

The 61st edition of IRF World Road Statistics (WRS) will be presented at the IRF World Congress 2024 in Istanbul from October 15-18 during a special session on October 15.

This new edition presents the latest road and transport data from 2017 to 2022, covering more than 200 countries. Thanks to the continued support of the Michelin Corporate Foundation and the TotalEnergies Foundation, this data is accessible free of charge on the IRF WRS Data Warehouse platform.

The International Road Federation (IRF) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1948, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It brings together members from various sectors, governments, private companies, universities and international organizations, all concerned with the development and management of road infrastructure. Its mission is to promote the sustainable development of roads and transport infrastructure around the world. This includes research, training, awareness raising and information exchange on best practices in road design, construction, maintenance and management.

The IRF collects and analyzes information on various aspects of road infrastructure, including road safety, traffic, environmental impact, and infrastructure investments.
