The kick-off of the 44th edition of the festival will be given on Friday January 28 at the Maison de la Culture in Clermont-Ferrand by the organizing association Sauve qui peut le Court Métrage, and will continue until February 5, exclusively in the halls throughout the week of the festival.
As every year, the national, international and lab competitions will be accompanied by a thematic retrospective (dance) and focus sessions on one country: Spain!
Nearly 152 works from 55 different countries are in competition and will be selected by the Jury.
But in addition to the screening of short films, the festival is also an opportunity for short film professionals from all over the world to meet.
The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market is the leading place for sales, acquisitions and distribution for short formats, offering concrete outlets on the French, European and international markets.
The event attracts more than 3,600 professionals and an extraordinary audience: more than 172,000 admissions were recorded in the festival halls in 2020, and 16,000 accounts were created in 2021 during the first online festival.
Enjoy !
