ASM Omnisports, much more than a sports club!

Encourage physical activity for all and create social connections

The Association Sportive Montferrandaise, created in 1911 by Marcel Michelin, is a century-old club open to all!

The purpose of the club is to encourage and promote the practice of physical activity for all, throughout life so that everyone can live longer and in good health.

Today, ASM Omnisports offers more than 6,000 members numerous sporting activities through 15 sports sections and 3 centers of excellence:

– ASM Sport-Santé Vitalité, a key player in promoting and deploying the practice of physical activities and sports, health and well-being for the benefit of the general public, within the framework of public policies (ASM Sport-Santé) and within companies and communities (ASM Vitalité)

– ASM Performance & Innovation, to support high-level athletes towards excellence by offering them a specific and favorable ecosystem

– ASM Sport Avenir Jeunesse, to promote education and the social and civic integration of young people through sport.

Over the years and its actions, the association has become a key player in social integration through sport in Clermont-Ferrand.

Allowing everyone, without distinction of social origin or income, to practice a sporting discipline in widely open meeting places, to promote social cohesion, diversity and the prevention of discrimination, is the common ambition of the Fondation d The Michelin company and the ASM Omnisports association.

Around thirty social integration projects through sport are long-term, co-constructed with local stakeholders in charge of youth and social cohesion and coordinated by ASM Omnisports via the Sport Avenir Jeunesse center of excellence.

One of the strengths of ASM lies in the quality of its infrastructure, allowing everyone to operate in optimal comfort, a health center and a restaurant.

The support of the Foundation makes it possible to anchor ASM Omnisports projects over the long term and to innovate in the creation of new actions for the benefit of sport to all.

ASM Omnisports, always faithful to yellow and blue, emblematic colors of the Club since its origin, is a resolutely modern club looking to the future.
