Eight Michelin industrial sites are mobilizing for heritage preservation

Committed alongside the Foundation La Sauvegarde de l’Art Français since 2014, the Michelin Corporate Foundation supports Le Plus Grand Musée de France program.

Launched last November despite a restrictive health context, the operation enabled employees of eight Michelin sites (Vannes, Saint-Doulchard, Bassens, Blavozy, Roanne, Blanzy, Golbey and La Chapelle-Saint-Luc) to embark on a treasure hunt, spotting 86 local works, visible to all and in need of restoration.

From April 6 to 23, more than 450 employees were able to vote online on La Sauvegarde de l’Art Français website to choose the artwork to be restored. Eight works, one by site, will thus be preserved and restored thanks to the commitment of Michelin employees towards their local heritage.
