The grand final of the national public speaking competition ELOQUENTIA takes place this evening, Wednesday October 2, at the Bataclan from 6:30 p.m. with our partner Fondation HEC.

There were 117 high school students from all over France who came to participate in the Eloquentia Summer Camp last July on the HEC Paris campus. For several days, these young talents competed to qualify for the grand final of the National Public Speaking Competition dedicated to high school students.

For the final there are only 6 finalists left!

Launched in 2018 by Eloquentia and HEC Paris, the objective is to allow each participant to assert themselves through speaking, an essential skill for achieving maximum success in their social and professional life. Lack of self-confidence and self-censorship are the main obstacles to the success of certain women and young people from modest backgrounds.

For more than fifteen years, HEC and the HEC Paris Foundation have put in place support and assistance systems to make the training provided by the School accessible. The Michelin Corporate Foundation is committed to supporting programs that enable young people and women facing social and educational inequalities to fight against these exclusion phenomena.

To dare is to succeed!
