The Guimet+ are deployed for four years in several cities in France and their content is renewed each year, highlighting 4 major cultural areas: China, Japan, Indian World and Himalayan World.
In Clermont-Ferrand, the first year, until November 2, 2025, is devoted to China in an original scenography revealing several masterpieces from the collections of the Guimet museum and the MARQ. A beautiful invitation to travel not to be missed!
“As the largest Asian arts museum in Europe, the Guimet museum has the responsibility to share these cultures and present them to as many people as possible, not only in Paris but also in the territories, Guimet+ aims to be a bridge between civilizations in order to better understand this world where Asia is taking up more and more space. And how can we better understand others than through the richness of its ancient cultures and spiritualities?
