Imprimer

Launched in January 2017, PAUSE is the Programme national d’aide à l’Accueil en Urgence des Scientifiques en Exil (National Emergency Hosting Program for Scientists in Exile).

This program aims at facilitating the hosting of scientists at risk by French higher education establishments and research organizations. These scientists forced into exile are recognized intellectuals whose critical thinking questions societal and political prejudices.

The international meeting of the PAUSE program took place at the Collège de France on 9 November 2017.

Philippe Legrez, Executive Director of the Michelin Corporate Foundation, has spoken in a round table about the national and international challenges of hosting scientists in exile.

The Michelin Corporate Foundation is proud to help these refugees and to participate in the enrichment of French research through the Pause program.
