Véro Béné receives the 2022 Michelin Foundation Grand Prix

Long – awaited , the RENDEZ-VOUS DU CARNET DE VOYAGE welcomed last weekend more than 100 French and foreign notebook artists who came to present their work and meet the public in Clermont-Ferrand.

The time of a weekend is an opportunity to discover the profession of notebook makers, the personal and unique work of each of these traveling artists, to participate in debates-meetings, workshops, to watch travel reports, to meet editors, and many other activities at the exhibition and outside the walls.

Each year, the Michelin Foundation Grand Prix rewards a published notebook, selected for its quality and originality. This year the jury was unanimously seduced by a rail journey, which even if it does not take us to the end of the world, is rich in encounters and discoveries. Very beautiful texts that make us look differently.

Forrest Patterson, new executive director of the Michelin Foundation, awarded the Grand Prix of the Michelin Foundation to Véro Béné for his book “Rail secrets of Auvergne and beyond” , published by Éditions de La Flandonnière.
