Invitation to travelling

Imprimer

The 23rd Rendez-vous International du Carnet de Voyage took place from November 17 to 19, 2023, at the Polydôme Congress Center in Clermont-Ferrand: a magnificent invitation to travel over the weekend which highlighted the art of notebookists!

This year, more than 80 French and foreign sketchbook artists, among the 120 guests, shared their passion with the public, giving us the opportunity to discover or rediscover the multiple techniques of travel illustration (drawing, watercolor, comic strip, etc… ), and to savor the travel diary in all its forms, the “traditional” diary on paper, but also in new forms, digital or audio…

Networking, conferences, film screenings, poetry, all the ingredients were there to give you a change of scenery and  the means to escape the gray of November.

The Michelin Foundation has supported the Il Faut Aller Voir association for 10 years with renewed pleasure and Forrest Patterson awwared the Michelin Foundation Grand Prize to :

The jury’s favorite was given to TAZAB for Les Pyrénées de Victor Hugo – Un voyage à vélo – Editions Elytis.

We also warmly congratulates the three other nominees for their remarkable work :
