With fifteen participating sites and more than 600 employees mobilized this year, the Michelin group has once again relied on its solid territorial roots to continue to work as an attentive protector of threatened local heritage.

During their quest, employees of the Michelin sites involved in the operation, spotted nearly 80 works of art in danger, close to their workplace. They were able to submit the results of their research to the expert eye of the La Sauvegarde de l’Art Français teams, who then invited them to vote online in order to choose, for each site, a work from among those selected.

On June 28, the last stage of the program allowed the election of sixteen works, owned by municipalities and associations, which will each benefit from a donation of €8,000 from the Michelin Corporate Foundation for their restoration.

Big news this year: in order to reward the strong mobilization of the Blavozy site (Le Puy-en-Velay, Haute-Loire) throughout the campaign, the work that came in second place for this site will also be able to benefit from a donation for its restoration.

The Michelin Corporate Foundation, its employees and La Sauvegarde are pleased to support sixteen projects today which highlight the diversity and beauty of the heritage of our regions. Sculptures, paintings, musical instruments, manuscripts, fire engines, carpentry elements and woodwork make up all of the treasures selected for this 2024 edition.
